A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting, located in Texico, New Mexico. This contract position offers a dynamic scope of work supporting students across kindergarten through 12th grade. The role begins on December 1, 2025, and continues through May 21, 2026.
Key responsibilities include providing direct therapy services and conducting evaluations tailored to each students unique needs. Caseload assignments will be determined based on your professional experience and individual preference, allowing for a personalized approach to caseload management.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Active COTA certification/license valid in New Mexico
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and deliver effective therapeutic interventions
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with school staff and families
This is an onsite position with a standard full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Working within a structured school environment, you will play a critical role in enhancing students functional abilities and supporting their educational success.
